Junior HR manager

Freshcode is looking for an HR Manager willing to take on the full employee life cycle from onboarding to offboarding.

Our HR team (2 HR managers and a Head of HR) is seeking a people-oriented colleague with strong communication skills. We are interested in candidates who can truly listen and understand others, remain patient and friendly during challenging interactions, as well as provide and accept constructive feedback calmly.  Proactivity is highly appreciated. This means not just addressing problems as they arise, but identifying and highlighting risks in advance. Moreover, we value discipline, commitment to achieving results, and an overall understanding of the confidentiality standards inherent to the HR field.

Main responsibilities:

  • Onboarding — guiding new employees, facilitating adaptation, and monitoring the probationary period
  • Offboarding — managing the termination process, conducting exit interviews, collecting and analyzing reasons for termination
  • 1:1 meetings — regular meetings (once a year) with employees to identify concerns, needs and risks, and assess satisfaction levels
  • Employee relations — assisting employees with work-related inquiries, resolving conflicts or difficult situations, and addressing employee requests
  • HR processes — maintaining and improving HR processes, policies, regulations, and internal procedures
  • Internal communications — communicating HR initiatives, changes, policies, and other important information to employees (approximately 50 people for individual HR management)
  • HR activities — organizing internal events and HR initiatives
  • HR documentation — updating employee information, maintaining HR systems and necessary documentation
  • Cooperation with managers — advising Team Leads/PMs on teams, motivation, performance, conflicts, and other people-related issues.

Key requirements:

  • Experience in people-oriented positions (customer support, sales, recruiting, teaching, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of HR processes
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace
  • Organizational skills, systematic approach, and attention to detail
  • Spoken English at the Intermediate level or higher

Nice to have:

  • Field-specific education (psychology, HR, management)
  • Basic knowledge or experience in the IT field

We offer:

  • Flexible work schedule: start your day between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM
  • Remote work
  • No time tracking
  • Paid vacation (20 business days) and sick leave (10 business days)

Interview stages:

  • Interview with a recruiter and English check (~45 min)
  • Final interview with the Head of the HR Department (~60 min)
