Freshcode is looking for a QA Engineer with 2+ years of experience in manual testing and strong conversational English to join a cross-functional team (PM, BA, Delivery Manager, Tech Lead, Fullstack Developers) and help ensure product quality across different stages of the development lifecycle.
About us: We are Freshcode, a team specializing in web and mobile development. We work on long-term projects (6+ months) with clients from Europe, the US, and Australia. Our core tech stack includes JavaScript (Node.js, React, Vue), along with Python, .NET, and Clojure. We focus on building products that deliver real value to users and businesses, particularly in the FinTech, Healthcare, and EdTech domains.
Responsibilities:
- Manual testing of web and mobile applications
- Creation and maintenance of testing artifacts (test plans, checklists, test cases)
- Analyzing requirements for new features and participating in solution discussions with the team
- Active communication with all project stakeholders
Requirements:
- 2+ years of commercial experience in testing
- Hands-on experience testing web and mobile applications
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Knowledge of fundamental testing theory
- Skills in writing test documentation
- Experience with Bug Tracking Systems (Jira)
- English level at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice to have:
- Experience with Playwright
- Experience working with AI as a functional part of the system
