Middle+ Full-Stack JS Developer (EST time zone)

Freshcode is looking for a Full-stack JS Developer with 4.5+ years of experience to join an international team. We are working on an innovative platform that automates insurance policy servicing.
This position involves evening to night work hours based on Kyiv time (EST).

Project

An intelligent assistant for customer support that improves interaction with insurance policyholders. The platform instantly understands user requests and resolves them using personalization.
By automating complex workflows in policy servicing within support and customer administration systems, the platform leverages knowledge from various sources to generate expert steps for resolving insurance-related issues.

Project tech stack:
TS, Next, React, Node, PostgreSQL, Fly.io, Turbo repo, TipTap, Supabase, Closed Source models (OpenAI, Anthropic).

Development methodology: Scrum with 2-week sprints.

Work hours: 16:00 to 00:00 Kyiv time (9 AM to 5 PM EST).

‍

Team: Full-stack JS Developer from Freshcode, as well as the Founder and a Full-stack JS Developer on the client side.

The project has been active for over 3 years and is already in production. The team is currently focused on active development and expansion to support new clients.

Responsibilities:

• Full-stack development with JS/TS
• Working with LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic)
• Analyzing task requirements and implementing new functionality
• Testing and writing documentation
• Communication with the team and the client

‍

We find important:

• 4.5+ years of commercial full-stack development experience
• Experience with React, Next.js
• Proficiency with Node.js
• Experience working with PostgreSQL
• Experience with Git
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.)
• English at the Upper-Intermediate level and above

‍

Will be a plus:

• Experience working with LLMs via code (API integration, agent development, etc.)
• Experience with WYSIWYG editors (e.g., TipTap)
