Middle+ Backend Developer with AI experience

At Freshcode, we are expanding our team and seeking a Backend Developer with 4.5+ years of experience, strong English communication skills, and practical experience with AI to join the development of an innovative AI platform in the LegalTech field.

Project: An AI-driven platform specifically designed for antitrust lawyers. Its goal is to optimize lawyers’ workflows by simplifying the analysis of a large amount of legal information and documents.
Built-in artificial intelligence is trained on manuals and textbooks on antitrust, competition law, and foreign direct investment. Thanks to this, it is able to recognize complex or ambiguous wording, quickly find the necessary information, and assist specialists in drafting and reviewing contracts.

Tech stack: Python, OpenAI, Node.js, TypeScript, Next, Express, minio, drizzle

Team: 2 Full stack developers on our side + 2 Full stack developers on the client’s side.

Responsibilities:

• Backend development using Node.js and Python
• Involvement in task planning and designing new features
• Integrating AI solutions into the project: working with LLMs via API, developing agents
• Keeping up with the latest AI trends and experimenting with them

‍

We find important:

• 4.5+ years of commercial experience
• Experience with Node.js over the past 2 years
• Proficiency in Cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.)
• Experience integrating AI into commercial projects: using LLMs via API, developing agents, etc.
• Strong knowledge of SQL
• Experience with Python
• Spoken English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher

Will be a plus:

• AI-related certifications
• Pet projects showcasing practical AI skills
